Capt (Inf) Tatang A
Commander of B Company in Batallion 744 (Dankipan B Yonif 744)
KPP HAM recommended Tatang be investigated because he supposedly knew about corpses stored in the battalion headquarters. Batallion 744 was a territorial batallion made up of many East Timorese soldiers and based in Dili. It was responsible for many human rights abuses throughout the Indonesian occupation. (He should not be confused with Lt-Col Tatang Zaenuddin.)
